Hatha yoga is an ancient root of all yoga originating from the Indus subcontinent and contains some of the most important series of practices for laying a firm foundation for yogic life.
My style of Hatha yoga involves conscious breathing techniques to restore vital energy (prana) and to develop efficient breathing patterns, gentle strengthening and stretching of the whole body, simple flow sequences and poses to encourage the body to move with fluidity and always quiet meditation. My style of Hatha is restorative, meditative and spiritual. My classes are suitable for anyone seeking subtly energising yoga to release stress from and bring balance to body, mind and breath. My classes are simple, gentle and comfortable; excellent for those for whom vigorous activity is not advised.
